Tiempo was founded in 2001 to develop and strengthen the talents of women and to improve the business conditions for women by establishing a network of business and professional relationships. The organization provides a professional environment that enriches the individual members and the local community by creating and offering business and professional programs.
Tiempo meets once a month, usually the fourth Monday, for dinner, fellowship, and a short program of interest to professional women. A new member must be sponsored by a member in good standing, and membership is by invitation of the Board of Directors. It is the intention of the Board that invitations shall be offered only to women who share and support the purposes of the organization and who the Board recognizes as leaders or emerging leaders within the greater Tucson area.
The core purpose of Tiempo is sharing - friendship, knowledge and wisdom in a venue of women from different perspectives and professions, supporting each other's growth.
The core value of Tiempo is integrity - honesty, unity and completeness.
The core ideology is sharing with integrity.
